John is a Labour activist in Angus, in North East Scotland. Originally from Devon, he moved up to Scotland with his Arbroath-born wife in 2007. Working for Angus Council, he works hard to reduce the Council’s Carbon footprint, and naturally takes a keen interest in Green and Energy related issues.
He also has a deep interest in Transport, and works as a volunteer Train Guard at the Caledonian Railway, a preserved railway line in Angus.
He is a steward for his local branch of UNISON, and is Vice Chair of Angus Labour Party.
John takes a keen interest in his local community and he is currently a member of the Montrose Community Council, and is their contact on planning matters.
