New cafe in Montrose

Its always a pleasure to see a new business open up, especially when it moves into a previously empty shop. Its even more of a pleasure when it is a business offering something unique. Cafe O’ Clay in Murray Street not only offers a good cup of tea or coffee, but also the chance to decorate your own ceramic goods. It also helps to make Montrose an attractive destination to visit, drawing business into the other shops.

Helping businesses like this succeed is vital, and more must be done to revitalise our town centres. Something for the Labour Manifesto for next May, methinks.
